Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, and no one has more experience designing quality fitting and performing headers than Hedman Hedders. These headers are a long tube design set of headers that have been designed specifically for installing a Gen 1 SB Chevy motor into 1982-04 2WD Chevy S10 / Blazer, and GMC S15 / Jimmy trucks.
The smooth-flowing mandrel-bent, long tube, under frame design gives your engine all the exhaust flow it will need to produce maximum horsepower and torque, and not just from your headers, but all of your performance add-ons. If your engine can't efficiently expel spent combustion gasses, your high dollar heads, intake manifold, blower, or even your cold air intake system, will be bottle-necked, limiting the amount of torque you can produce.
The ball & socket style collector integrated into these Hedmans means there's no collector gasket to blow out.
These headers come from the factory with Hedman's durable Black Maxx, satin black ceramic-metallic finish. This coating will withstand operating temperatures up to 1400° F. The finish retains more exhaust heat inside the header tubes to keep underhood temperatures down, and increase exhaust gas flow speeds. This coating is warrantied for a full 5 years, while the header materials and construction are factory-backed by Hedman's Limited Lifetime Warranty.
